Grammatica 4D Write is a plug-in for 4D 2004.7 and above, adding live grammar checking as well as a powerful extended spelling check compared to the basic built-in spelling-only 4D checking module.

One installed, Grammatica 4D Write is called by 4D Write instead of the basic spell checking module. Grammar errors are underlined in green and spelling errors are underlined in red.
Available checked languages are English (British, American or both), French, German and Spanish.
The contextual menu allows word replacement, and gives access to the main checking window...

The interface language can be modified on the fly through programmed code or user settings. Available interface languages are English, French, German and Spanish. |

When unregistered, Grammatica 4D Write operates in demonstration mode: the plug-in is fully functional during ten minutes.
The basic module includes English and French languages. German and Spanish languages are available as optional modules.
There are no such things as development licenses or distinction between MacOS and Windows platforms.
There are two kinds of licenses: regular licenses and unlimited licenses, aka OEM licenses.
Regular licenses
These licenses are linked to 4D, 4D Runtime or 4D Server serial number, which can be obtained through the GET SERIAL INFORMATION 4D command.
This number is also displayed in the dialog box, which appears after the demonstration period has ended, as shown on the previous page.
If you upgrade the version of your 4D or 4D server, your license will be exchanged at no extra charge to match the new 4D serial ID.
Unlimited licenses
These licenses, also known as « OEM », are available to developers who need a specific personal key, which allows an unlimited number of deployments on an unlimited number of sites, for an unlimited number of users connected to each server (in the case of a client-server use).
In this mode, the key is independent of 4D serial numbers- it is based upon the company or the developer’s name.
