Macintosh and Windows faxing from FileMaker is now available with FaxPack version 6. FileMaker versions 5.5 through 7 will be supported for direct faxing from any FileMaker-based application.
FaxPack 6 for FileMaker works exclusively with 4-Sight FAX v5/v6. This plug-in allows a FileMaker developer to fully automate the creation and sending of faxes directly from any FileMaker application through 4-Sight FAX v5/v6 servers. With FaxPack 6, the FileMaker developer can manage user logins, list and pick cover pages, automate print driver selection, establish sending priorities and attach fax enclosures.
Eliminating the need for the 4-Sight FAX v5/v6 client, FaxPack for FileMaker provides one-click integrated database faxing. At the same time, it removes the need for maintaining multiple address books. In addition, version 5/6's TCP/IP fax server capability allows customers to initiate faxes from remote databases through any Internet connection.
